When will you ship my order?
We ship orders as quickly as possible. Orders usually ship within 2 business days (M-F) after receiving payment. Payments arriving after 6 PM PST are processed the next day, and will likely be shipped the following day.

What’s my tracking number?
Tracking numbers are usually emailed the day after your order ships. Sometimes, we get behind- and your package arrives before your tracking number.

How long will it take to get my order?
We ship by UPS Ground every day, Monday through Friday. Delivery times are determined by the carrier, and depend on your location, the weather, and carrier efficiency. UPS does not deliver on Sunday or Holidays.

Do you ship to Hawaii and Alaska?
We DO NOT ship crates or pens to Hawaii and Alaska.

Do you ship outside of the United States?
We DO NOT ship outside of the lower 48 United States. Customs regulations and shipping restrictions make it too costly and time-consuming.

No. ForHappyDogs.com is an Internet company; there is no location open to the public.

We do not offer expedited shipping.

Will you combine shipping to save me money?
We do NOT combine shipping on crates, pens, cages, or other items individually boxed.
We are happy to combine shipping when possible for beds, pads, pans, and treats. We can combine beds from a single auction or pans from a single auction. We cannot combine beds of different sizes, or colors or pans of different model numbers. In order to combine shipping, you need to order and pay for all items at the same time, on the same day. We can't combine shipping if items are shipped from 2 different locations.

Crates, pens, and cages are ALWAYS boxed and shipped individually.

Can I get a volume discount?
If you order 11 or more pens or crates, email us about receiving a price break. Our prices are already very low, so orders of 10 or less can not be discounted.

How do I pay for my order?
All orders must go through the ForHappyDogs.com Checkout System. There is big red Check-Out Button in the payment section of the auction ads. Click that button and follow the instructions. Or, click the link in the Winner's email that says "Checkout Instructions" in the subject line.

Where should I send my money order?
Please go through our Checkout System. Choose Money Order as the payment option, and continue through checkout to supply us with your shipping information. Our mailing address will be emailed to you in the Checkout Confirmation email. Print that email and send it along with your payment, or we won't know who you are, and why you're mailing us cash.

My credit card was declined- what should I do now?
Most credit card declines are due to incorrect mailing addresses and/or typos. If your credit card payment is not accepted, you will immediately get an error message during checkout, and be directed to double-check your errors and try again. If your card is rejected a second time, we encourage you to phone your bank, and try to checkout again after the problem has been addressed.

How do I know if you received my payment?
You'll receive an email from us after your payment clears. If you do not get the confirmation email, either: 1) your payment did not clear, or 2) your email contact info is not accurate.

I'm having problems using CheckOut - HELP!
Channel Advisor is a service that helps us process and ship orders quickly. You must use our checkout to pay and provide shipping information. ENTER CHECK-OUT WITH THE EMAIL ADDRESS REGISTERED WITH EBAY.

To use ForHappyDog.com's Checkout:
1) Click the red checkout button that says 'Check-Out' in the payment section of the ad.
-OR-
2) Click the link in the email you receive from us- usually within minutes of winning the auction. The 'From' header says 'ForHappyDogs.com' and the 'Subject' header says 'Checkout instructions for eBay'. Sometimes, there are technical glitches, and it can take a few hours to receive your winner's email. Please be patient- technical snafus are beyond our control.

3) It doesn't matter how you pay - Credit Card, PayPal, or Money Order - please go through our CheckOut so we can process your order and it get out the door and on its way to you.

4) If your invoice contains 'extra items' – you closed out more than one auction 'by mistake', or you've changed your mind about an item on the invoice – email us, being sure to include the email address registered on eBay. We will remove the extra items from the invoice before you go through checkout. NOTE: We will file Unpaid Item Disputes in order to recover our fees from these 'sales'. Usually, this will NOT result in a strike against you.

I sent you a money order- why haven't you shipped my order?
If we haven't shipped your order, it’s because we haven't received payment. You will get an email when we receive your payment.

Returns, Refunds, & Exchanges
 
I've changed my mind. Can you cancel the auction?
You should know eBay's rules and terms of service. Bidding on an auction is entering into a binding agreement to purchase the item, if you are the winning bidder.

eBay has changed it's policy. We must report ALL incomplete transactions to eBay in order to recover our seller fees. eBay will suspend users who receive 3 'Non-Paying Bidder' strikes.

What is your Return Policy?
We accept returns up to 14 days from the date of delivery.

We'll refund the total price of your purchase IF it is returned in the same condition as it was shipped: NEW, unused, and undamaged, with all supporting instructions and documentation. Unfortunately, we cannot refund your original shipping charges.

Your order must be returned to us via UPS. We no longer accept returns from FedEx, USPS (postal service,) or other shipping companies. Please provide us with a tracking number.

Buyer assumes the cost of shipping and insurance to return the item to us. Items must be returned to our location in California. This is the address listed on the original shipping label. All returns must include the name of the purchaser, your eBay user ID, and the auction number. We cannot provide a refund without this information.

Buyer is responsible for return shipping cost and insurance. On items returned to us by UPS as refused or unwanted, the return shipping cost will be deducted from your refund based upon standard UPS counter shipping rates. If an item is damaged in return shipping, the buyer must handle the damage claim with the shipper for a refund. We do not provide refunds on items returned to us damaged.

Refunds are issued within 30 days of return.

May I exchange my item for another one?
If you've already paid, we cannot switch models or item numbers. Once you've paid, you've bought it, and that's what we'll ship.

If you haven't paid yet, close out another auction for the item you really want. Then, email us, giving us the item numbers. We'll remove the unwanted item from your invoice and file a 'mutually agree' Unpaid Item Dispute' to recover some of our Seller costs.

Once your item is shipped, there are no exchanges, per se. You may return the item, receive a refund, and purchase another one.

We accept returns up to 15 days from the date of delivery.

We'll refund the total price of your purchase IF it is returned in the same condition as it was shipped– NEW, direct from the factory, with all supporting instructions and documentation. Unfortunately, we cannot refund your original shipping charges.

You assume the cost of shipping your crate back to us. Ship it back to our address - it's on the original label. We accept returns via UPS ONLY – as of December 1, 2004 WE WILL REJECT ALL FEDEX RETURNS. NO EXCEPTIONS! Make sure we have some way of identifying your package when it comes back - we need an item/auction number and your name.

How will I get my refund?
We'll refund your money in the same manner that we received it - via PayPal, credit card, money order. It will take a maximum of 30 days from the time we receive your return to process your refund.

Feedback & Unpaid Item Disputes
 
When will you leave me feedback?
Our system automatically leaves feedback for anyone who leaves us feedback. If you want feedback from us, leave feedback for us first. We do not respond to emails requesting feedback.

Why did you file an Unpaid Item Dispute against me?
eBay charges us sales commissions on every closed auction- whether you pay or not. The Unpaid Item Dispute Process is the only way for us to recover those fees when you don't complete a transaction. Please refer to eBay's "Help" files for more information.

If we have exchanged emails about the unpaid item, and we have agreed to revoke the sale, we will close the dispute and you will NOT receive a 'strike' against your eBay account.
If you're one of the thousands of bidders who close out auctions just for fun and then ignore all of our emails, we will file a strike against you to discourage this behavior in the future. It costs ForHappyDogs.com and other sellers both time and money.

How can I contact ForHappyDogs?
IF you have a question that isn't answered here or in the auction ad, email us. You can expect an answer within 24 hours – except on weekends, and then you'll get a reply on Monday. If your question IS already answered here, we will not respond to your email.

Phone: ForHappyDogs is an Internet business – we're offering top-quality merchandise at remarkably low prices. We'd love to be able to chat, talk about your dogs, and offer more personalized service – but then we'd have to raise our prices in order to pay more customer service people. We do not offer customer service by telephone.


Emails: When you email us, ALWAYS include your EBAY ID and your AUCTION NUMBER. We can't help you if we don't know who you are or what you're talking about!

Email Tips:
Earthlink customers: "Whitelist" '@forhappydogs.com'. Spam filters are keeping out our emails.
AOL customers: AOL is unreliable. Please give us an alternative email address. We will not telephone you if our emails go undelivered.
