How do I know which sized crate is right for my dog?
1) Look at the ad for the particular crate that you’re considering
buying. There is a large list of dog breeds that will likely feel
at home in that particular size of crate.
2) Measure your dog, both length and height. Add at least 4” to each
measurement to determine the needed crate size.
3) We strongly recommend buying a crate that will fit a
full-grown adult dog. Buying a smaller crate for your pup
now means you’ll have to buy another crate within 6 months!
4) Mixed breed dogs: Get the crate suited to the largest breed
in your dog’s mix.
5) Remember: Breed recommendations are suggestions for “average”
dogs. If your dog is “big for his breed,” please make sure to
get a home that will be comfortable and large enough!
6) Do not email us for personal recommendations; we've never met
your dog, and can not offer any advice. Ask your vet or dog trainer.

What’s the difference between Four Paws and Midwest crates?
Midwest is an old, established manufacturer of dog crates. We
believe they’re some of the best crates around.
Four Paws is a newcomer to the dog crate market, yet they’ve been
in the pet business a long time.

What’s the difference between Standard/Home crates and Folding/Travel
crates?
All the crates are easy to assemble and take down again. However,
the Folding/Travel crates are super-easy to put up & collapse,
so they offer added convenience. The Folding/Travel crates fold
down “suitcase-style,” making traveling or just moving from room
to room in your home easy.
